The Sales team
Who arrives when you choose Sales at sign-up, what each of the five AI teammates owns, how work passes between them, and what the team cannot do yet.
Five teammates, one outcome: qualified meetings
When you pick Sales at sign-up, Nagent installs a team room called Sales and seats five AI teammates in it. The team owns one outcome, qualified meetings, and its charter says how it gets there:
Find accounts that match the active ICP, qualify them against it, and carry the conversation to a handover.

| Teammate | Role | What it owns |
|---|---|---|
| NORA | Team lead, outbound research | Finding and researching accounts, drafting and sending outreach, booking meetings |
| DEXA | Deal execution | The deal after a human has taken it: next steps, qualification, papers |
| RIVA | Revenue operations | Keeping the pipeline true: hygiene, stalls, credits used |
| LIPI | CRM email writer (Beta) | Emails to people you have already spoken to |
| VANI | Outbound email writer (Beta) | First-touch, follow-up and breakup emails to strangers |
NORA leads the room. When you brief the team without naming anyone, the brief goes to her.
What the sign-up screen says, and what installs
The department card on the sign-up screen draws Sales under a chief of staff called SERA, marked Live, with DEXA and RIVA marked Coming soon. That card is ahead of, and in two places behind, the product:
- SERA is not built yet. There is no SERA in your room and nobody to brief by that name. The Sales org screen shows SERA's seat as empty and says the seat joins in a later phase. Until then NORA leads the team and reports to you.
- DEXA and RIVA are built and installed. Choosing Sales grants both, and each has its own screen in your workspace from the first day.

How the work moves
The team is built around one rule: a human stands between each stage that commits your company to something.
- NORA finds and researches. She builds a list of accounts that match your customer profile, researches each one into a dossier, and drafts outreach. VANI writes those first-touch emails for her, from the dossier and your own knowledge only.
- A prospect replies and qualifies. NORA books the meeting and raises a handoff card on her meetings board. A person on your team acknowledges it. A handoff nobody acknowledges within 36 hours is escalated.
- DEXA takes the deal. Once the handoff is acknowledged, the card offers Continue in DEXA. DEXA keeps the deal room: who on the buying committee is engaged, the four qualification questions, the next commitment, and any paper being drafted.
- RIVA watches the whole pipeline. She scores every open deal against the same rules DEXA uses, flags deals whose stage has not moved, and reports credits used. She never edits an amount, a stage or an owner.
- LIPI writes to people you already know. The personalised draft on a lead's page, nurture sequence steps and sales follow-ups all come from LIPI.
DEXA and RIVA read one shared definition of what is wrong with a deal, so a deal cannot look clean on one screen and at risk on the other.
Where the team lives
| Screen | What it is for |
|---|---|
| The Sales team room, under Workbench | Brief the team, talk to any teammate, watch work and clear what waits for you |
| Sales org | The seat map: who is on the bench, what each is measured on, the funnel, what waits on a human |
| NORA | Outbound: prospects, drafts, replies, the meetings and handoff board |
| DEXA | The deal book and each deal's room |
| RIVA | Hygiene, stalls, credits |
| Sales settings | The stall threshold RIVA uses and the discount band DEXA works within |

Briefing the team
Open the Sales room and type in the composer. To ask a particular teammate,
type @ and pick them. Some examples for Prompt World, which runs prompt
engineering workshops for marketing and sales teams:
@NORA find heads of marketing at 200 to 2,000 person B2B companies in India who are hiring for sales enablement@DEXA what is the status of the Acme Learning deal?@RIVA which deals have stalled?
DEXA and RIVA answer questions like these straight from your CRM records, with the numbers worked out by code rather than by a model.
You may not see VANI in the @ list today. She does not need to be addressed:
NORA calls on her whenever outreach is drafted.
What runs on its own and what asks first
Every action an agent can take declares the level it needs before it may run without asking. Below that level, it waits for a person. A new Sales team is seated at L4, and that is a higher starting point than the rest of these pages might lead you to expect:
- Reads always run. Deal status, hygiene, funnel, stalls.
- DEXA's three writes (set a next commitment, record a qualification answer, draft a paper) need L3, so at L4 they run on their own and are logged.
- NORA's sends (send a draft, run a cadence) wait for a person. Sending is gated separately from the level shown on NORA's seat, so her L4 does not let e-mail leave on its own. On a new workspace every send is held for approval.
A workspace admin can raise or lower any of these agents on the agent's Configuration tab, and every change is recorded. See autonomy and governance.
When something does wait for you, it appears in the room and on Actions. It does not appear in the Inbox yet.

Our logic
Sales is the team where an agent's mistake reaches a stranger's inbox, so the team is split by what each seat is allowed to touch. The agent that measures the pipeline (RIVA) cannot change it. The agent that works deals (DEXA) can record what was agreed but cannot move the number it is scored on. Papers beyond the discount band go to a human, whatever anyone asks for in the room.
Limits today
- The first brief may not complete on a brand-new workspace. The Sales pack's skills are not yet attached to new workspaces, and with no tools connected NORA can answer questions but may report that a piece of work "did not complete". Connect your tools and add knowledge first; if a brief still fails, tell us in the room.
- SERA, the forecast and the scoreboard are not built.
- Quota and commission tracking need comp rules the workspace cannot yet hold, so RIVA reports no attainment rather than an estimate.
- LIPI and VANI are Beta. Their drafts are grounded in your knowledge, but check them before they go out.
